Privacy
Where is my cycle data stored?
On your phone, encrypted at rest by the OS secure storage. By default nothing sits on our servers, because cycle data never leaves the device unless you turn on cloud backup. If you uninstall the app, the local data is destroyed with it.
Can someone subpoena my cycle data?
Not from us by default — we don't have it. They'd have to subpoena your phone directly. If you opt in to the cloud "How am I today?" check, the prompt sent to Google Gemini contains only cycle phase, your chosen constitution tag, and a few symptoms — no name, email, or device ID. If you opt in to encrypted cloud backup, the backup is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Do you sell data to advertisers?
No. QiFlux ships zero ads for all users — free and Premium alike. There is no ad SDK in the binary. We do not, and never will, sell or share cycle data with anyone. We use no analytics SDKs at all.
Does QiFlux connect to Apple Health or Google Fit?
Not in this version. QiFlux does not read from or write to Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Fit, or Health Connect. Your cycle and symptom data lives only in QiFlux's own local storage. If health-platform sync is added later, it will go through the OS — never our server — and we'll say so here first.
Subscription
How do I cancel?
Settings → Subscription → "Manage subscription". One tap deep-links you to Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions. From there, cancel — that's the second tap. Two taps total. We never put a cancel flow inside our own UI.
When does the 7-day free trial charge me?
7 days after you start it. The exact date and amount are shown in bold above the Confirm button before you start, and a "next charge in N days" countdown stays visible in Settings → Subscription. Cancel before that date and you are not charged.
How much is Premium?
Monthly is US$3.99, annual is US$24.99, both with a 7-day free trial. Pricing is shown in your local currency at checkout via Apple / Google native billing. The free tier is permanent and includes the core tracker — it isn't a freemium trap.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are processed by Apple or Google directly — we don't have refund infrastructure ourselves. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Both honor refunds for unintended charges if you ask soon after the charge.
"How am I today?" & the culture pack
Why is "How am I today?" framed in constitution (體質) terms?
Because many of our users grew up reading their bodies in those terms. The optional Asia culture pack uses warm / cold / dry / damp / balanced vocabulary because it already exists in our users' families. If you prefer a Western frame, set the locale to en and the pack switches to phase-only language. It's a cultural reference, not medical advice — the disclaimer banner says exactly that.
Is the AI accurate?
It's accurate enough to be useful and not so accurate that you should treat it as medical advice. The disclaimer banner at the top of every "How am I today?" view says exactly this. Static fallback cards (used when your points run out, when you opt out of cloud AI, or on older devices) are based on cited reference material.
What if the AI says something that worries me?
See a clinician. QiFlux is a wellbeing tracker, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.
Account & data
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data → Export. We give you a file with every cycle and symptom you've logged, in JSON or CSV. The export runs on-device.
Do you need an account to use QiFlux?
No. The first launch creates a local-only, anonymous profile — no email, no phone number, no account. Sign-in with Apple or Google is optional and only used if you turn on encrypted cloud backup for cross-device restore.
What if I lose my phone?
If you turned on encrypted cloud backup, restore the app on your new phone, sign in to Apple/Google, and your data appears. If you didn't, the local data is gone — we can't recover it because by default we never had it. We recommend turning on backup if cross-device restore matters to you.
